Club members include many experienced timekeepers, a Radio Group of 32 including 4 Controllers, 4 Clerks of the Course and a fully qualified Scrutineer (resident on the Island). We also have links to Rescue & Recovery Units and Doctors.
Last year we ran some very successful Autotests at Laggan Sands, Lochbuie. We hope to do these again in 2017.

Beatsons Building Supplies Mornish Rally Time Trial 14/10/17
Following the unfortunate and unavoidable cancellation of this year's Mull Rally, Mull Car Club has been working with the Guardians of the Mull Rally to provide an alternative Event that should be of interest to would be Mull Rally Competitors.
We are pleased to announce the Beatsons Building Supplies Mornish Rally Time Trial on Saturday 14th October 2017. This will run over 3.1 miles of previously unrallied gravel road in the north-west of the Island.
To increase it's appeal to would be competitors we have obtained MSA permission to run the Event for crews consisting of Driver and Co-Driver. (The usual format of RTTs being "Driver only"). Car sharing is permissible, but no Driver may drive more than one car. The maximum number of entries will be 30.
Regulations have been published and are available here. You will note that entries are "on-line" by rallies.info
Further information on events over the weekend, including a Targa Road Rally on the Friday, is available on the Mull Rally website.
Unfortunately, due to pressure of work and other commitments Geoffrey Gallagher has tendered his resignation as Chairman and as a Director of Mull Car Club.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Geoffrey for all the time and effort he has put into Car Club activities. The organisation of the Laggan Sands autotests was led by Geoffrey, providing great experience for younger members of the Club.
Fred MacLean has kindly agreed to take on the Chairman's role, at least until the 2018 Annual General meeting.
