Manx National Rally

A 12 strong contingent of Members and friends of Mull Car Club descended on the Isle of Man at the weekend to run two stages on the Manx National Rally.
Thursday was spent setting up the Curraghs stage whilst on Friday most of the team were helping out on other stages while the Stage Commander and Deputy Stage Commander tweeked the stage ready for Saturday.
There were a few incidents meaning the second run of the stage was in jeopardy but we managed to rescue the situation and get everyone through with only a minute spare till road open time.
A great team effort from everyone covering Arrival, start and flying finish timing along with several instage posts.
There was also time to do some sight seeing and the obligatory curry and beer.
Next up for the team is the Jim Clark Rally in two weeks followed by Crail Summer Stages and Argyll Rally in June.
